Galvakot – Zinc Rich Cold Galvanizing Spray
Galvakot is a premium cold galvanizing spray designed for superior protection of steel and ferrous metals against harsh corrosive environments. This high solids, zinc-rich coating provides a bright, durable finish that rivals the protection offered by hot-dipped galvanizing.
Key Features:
- Superior Protection: Galvakot’s epoxy-based formula boasts a high zinc content, creating a strong bond with metal substrates. This results in exceptional corrosion resistance, effectively protecting against rust and corrosion creepage.
- Highly Active Zinc Particles: The pure zinc particles in Galvakot form a flexible galvanic self-healing film, offering continuous protection and maintaining its effectiveness even in severe conditions.
- Durability: With resistance to salt corrosion and water, Galvakot ensures long-lasting protection. It does not sag and can be top-coated with conventional primers and finishes such as epoxy, urethanes, acrylics, and chlorinated rubber.
- Temperature Tolerance: Galvakot withstands continuous use at temperatures up to 350–400°F and intermittent use up to 600°F.

ping of castings due to minor cosmetic defects. Piocol Fixup allows you to patch up and repair mechanically strong metal castings to a high finish. The patched surface withstands high temperatures up to 220°C, and Piocol Hightemp can withstand up to 545°C. It can be powder coated to a very fine finish without bubbles, cracks, or discoloration. It withstands powder coating oven temperatures and lasts forever.
Applications:
Galvakot is ideal for corrosion protection of a wide range of applications including:
- Steel buildings
- Roofs
- Doors
- Fences
- Guard rails
- Road signs
- Gutters
- Ridges
- Farm equipment
